Mac users are asked directly to pay on Paste Link button without having chance to try it with limited functionality. Why?

When I press Paste Link button it explains me that I need to pay in order to download bigger lists. This is OK. However there is no way for me to continue with Paste Link unless I enter activation key. I'll need at least the limited functionality to confirm this application is what I need.
