4K Stogram occasionally crashes when attempting to update a non-existing username

When users I follow either renames or removes their account, the username in 4K Stogram is no longer correct and points to a non-existing username. I have "Auto-update photos every 5 minutes" checked, so occasionally when some of the users I follow no longer have valid usernames, 4K Stogram suddenly crashes. Once said usernames are removed, the application updates correctly again and doesn't crash until some other username becomes invalid.
