Audio Sync Issue

There seems to be a problem with audio not being in sync with video on long mp4 youtube downloads. I am using Ubuntu 14.04 64 bit. Went back to windows and downloaded the same movies with atube catcher and there was no issue with the audio sync. Thought you may want to check into the problem. Thanks
