The 50 character file name length restriction that has now been imposed is ridiculous. If a playlist contains, for example, a list of files where only the end of the file is different, you will not be able to determine what those files are once they are downloaded. It is much quicker to download the files individually and name them correctly as they are saved.
Given that the real benefit of the paid for version of Video Downloader is the ability to download playlists, I don't know why 4K have now decided to effectively severely restrict the usefulness of this by imposing the 50 character file name limit
