Just wiped out my whole downloaded files folder

Just wiped out my whole downloaded files folder because I clicked yes on a button that asked me if I wanted to delete all of my files, conveniently placed right under my mouse cursor when all I wanted to do was clear my files list. Thanks for no undo feature, no confirmation button warning me of what I was about to do, love it when I get three choices and have to figure them all out. But yes a confirmation feature would have been excellent. No I don't want to learn data recovery under Ubuntu 18. This is a real design flaw. Please sort it out. Thank you.
