Can't download 2K/4K quality video in mp4 format

I have found out that I cannot use it to download a video more that 1080p (like 2K and 4K) in 'mp4' format now, only in mkv instead, is that true?

yeah, youtube changed something so 4k in mp4 format not possible right now.
and mkv files are somehow corrupted, make computer slow.
