4k Stogram crashes, possibly too many accounts followed?

In the last year of using 4k Stogram I've followed more and more accounts (I have 600 I added).

I am guessing the program can't cope with this? It crashes nonstop before I can update anything. Please let me know if there are limits on account #s, suggested workarounds, etc.

Instagram has dropped the rate limit from 5000 to 200. honestly i used to follow alot of people on 4k,but now i dropped it to 92 since 4k wont be able to handle that many people. also disable auto update

I used to have a bunch of accounts in 4K too, but it got really slow, super unwieldy. Took up over 1.5 GB memory just for the database. I reduced it down to about 200, mainly ones that I want Instastories from or so & it's much happier. My other accounts I might set up a separate database file & just load it every few days to update.
