4k Youtube Videos in MP4

Youtube videos can no longer be downloaded in 4k with in the mp4 format. You have to choose file type mkv for the 4k download option to be displayed.

You used to be able to download 4k mp4 videos from Youtube with this software, but somewhere along the line the feature got removed or it is a bug.

YouTube stores several formats and resolutions of a video, which 4K Video Downloader parses and downloads. YouTube has changed the way content is stored. As a result, 4K resolution can be downloaded only in MKV format for the moment.

Please change MP4 to MKV format to get 4K Resolution.

The problem is that when setting download format to MKV, videos that go up to 1080p only in MP4 are sometimes downloaded in MKV 320p.
You should add a "best resolution mode" that downloads in either MP4 or MKV depending on the best resolution available
