only downloads youtube videos up to 2k even though it has 4k option

happened a few days ago. 4k videos only downloads up to 2k. did youtube updated their codes or this program hasent been updated?

YouTube stores several formats and resolutions of a video, which 4K Video Downloader parses and downloads. YouTube has changed the way content is stored. As a result, 4K resolution can be downloaded only in MKV format for the moment.

Please change MP4 to MKV format to get 4K Resolution.

You may open MKV files with VLC and MPC-HC media players.
